Fun with Bettis Family

We spent the last 2 days of our time in Texas with my dear friend Amy and her family. Her daughter Kate just turned 4, and Caroline is totally obsessed with her and loves to be a "big girl" with her! Kate was so sweet to share her new toys from Christmas with Caroline including her cool new vanity with makeup and hair things!

They did all kinds of fun things together including water painting, playing at the indoor playground, and cuddling in Kate's chair for a snack and a movie. I love watching these sweet girls together.Kate and Amy took us to the cool new Children's Museum in Fort Worth. We discovered that the girls had matching shirts, so of course they had to wear them to have a fun day together! So cute!

Miss Mel and Aunt Lauren

We spent a great night with Caroline's Miss Mel and Aunt Lauren in the DFW area. We had a wonderful time being with them and they loved being with Caroline, who also loved playing with them and exploring their house!

DFW Friends

We spent the rest of our time in Texas in the DFW area. We got to visit with some good freinds there. We first saw Jennifer and David with their cutie Connor; here are Jennifer and Caroline catching up.
We spent a great morning with my friends Rebecca and Melissa with their sweet girls Halie and Greenlea. We love seeing our friends when we go to Texas!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas with our family in Wichita, and Caroline and Aiden had so much fun opening and playing with all of their new toys together!

Snow in Texas

The first few days of our trip we had great weather, and then the Texas snow came! It was crazy to see it snow that much there! Aiden saw snow for the first time, and the kids had fun playing in it!

Trip to Texas

So sorry for the LONG absence from blogging, my friends, but we have all taken turns being under the weather here since we got back from Texas. We had an amazing time and enjoyed spending Christmas with family so much.

We spent the first part of our trip in Wichita Falls seeing family. Caroline LOVED being with her cousin Aiden. Every morning she woke up at around 5:30 (yea!) and started yelling "Adi" (what she calls Aiden) until he woke up to start playing with her! They had some fun times together!

We went to see Santa, but Caroline is still too afraid to sit on his lap. Santa was so nice to let the kids sit on his chair and he came around behind them.
