More friends

Fun in the Sun

Here is some video (long overdue!) from our visit in Florida! Here is Caroline in the pool for her first swim. She is now an experienced swimmer as she is taking swim "lessons" at the YMCA and having so much fun in the water.

Fun Friends

We got to go visit our friends Liz and Avery last week; we had not seen them is such a long time! Avery is getting so big like Caroline, and they had such a great time playing together! We love playing with our friend!

Very Vocal

Caroline is a VERY vocal little girl. Here she is after her dinner telling us how wonderful it was. Even though she does this every day, it still makes us laugh so forgive the camera shaking at the end due to my laughing at this funny girl!

Hanging with Daddy

This is such a sweet picture of Caroline and her daddy sitting and playing together! They have a great time together, and she always has a big smile for her daddy when he walks into the room!

Visit with Miriam

Caroline's cousin Miriam came to visit on her way back to school. She just got her driver's license and was driving by herself (and with it snowing- very impressive!). They had a great time playing together and we were so glad to see her!

First Highchair

Caroline sat in her first highchair this weekend when we went out to dinner. She sat up like such a big girl and ate her dinner with us, although we did not eat the same thing (cereal and squash for her!). Fun times with our girl!

Playing

Here is Caroline sitting up SO well and playing with one of new favorite toys that has lots of lights and sound! She seems so happy when she is sitting up and playing with all of her toys around her!

Just Like Granddad

Today Caroline kicked her socks off and was lounging on the sofa barefoot. She started rubbing her feet together just like her granddad does while he is lounging on the sofa! Like granddad, like granddaughter!

Visit with Sara

Caroline's cousin Sara came to visit Caroline this week as well. Unfortunately, Caroline had another cold and developed her first ear infection, but she still had a great time playing with Sara. Sara loves Caroline so much and is so great with her; we enjoyed seeing her before she goes back to college next week!

Trip to Larchmont

We went to Larchmont this week to visit Caroline's grandma and grandpa for the annual New Year's Eve celebration (a little late but still great!). We took Caroline to the train show at the Botanical Gardens and she loved watching all the trains! She also got to have her traditional piano lessons from her grandma and this time she started to bang on some of the keys herself, do we have a piano prodigy on our hands?

7 Months Old

Caroline is now 7 months old! She is sitting up all by herself, quite an accomplishment! She loves to try to feed herself (a little messy but fun!), and these biscuits are her favorite! Here she is in her beautiful sweater and hat that our friend Audrey made for her for Christmas.

Caroline and Maggie

My friend Claire from high school and her husband Bill live in Boston and now have a baby girl, Maggie, who is 2 1/2 months old. They came to visit on the way home from the Berkshires on New Year's Day. It was so fun to see Maggie; she is so cute and smiley and we had such a great time catching up!
