Snow

Winter in New England has begun (I guess it had to at some point!), and Caroline loves the snow! She loves to walk around in it and touch it. She can't quite throw a snowball yet but she thought it was hilarous when I tossed a little one against her coat!
She also loves winter attire! She thought it was fun to walk around in my boots, and she wears her hat and mittens around the house regularly! Thankfully for Caroline, she will have plenty of opportunities to wear her winter attire and play in the snow over the next several months!

Sweet Friends

Is this not the cutest picture of two little sweet girls?! We got to have our friends Liz and Avery over last weekend, and the girls kept sneaking into the other room and then running around the corner together holding hands! It makes me so happy to see these sweet friends together and I hope their friendship continues for a long time!

Tree Decorating

We put up our Christmas tree after Thanksgiving (when Caroline says it it sounds more like "misses tee"), and Caroline has had a great time checking it out! Most of our ornaments are on the upper half of the tree this year to prevent ornament-napping! We got a Mickey Mouse ornament which she LOVES; she carried it around the house the whole time we were decorating the tree, and she finally relinquished it to go on the tree!
After the decorating was finished, both Caroline and daddy needed some resting time on the sofa; they were worn out! I am happy to report that the tree is still in one piece though Donald Duck's head is missing off her Mickey ornament from banging it up against the wall, and I do find the tree skirt somewhere else in the house every couple of days, but that all goes with having a very curious toddler in our house and we wouldn't have it any other way!

More Post-Thanksgiving

What kind of host would Miss Caroline be if she did not help cook dinner for her family? Here she is showing Miriam and Sara her way around the kitchen!

Post-Thanksgiving

It has become a tradition for Caroline's Uncle Rick, Aunt Lynn, and cousins to come to our hosue the night after Thanksgiving so we can spend more time together. We had a great time together as usual and Caroline got to spend some special time with her cousins Sara and Miriam before they go back to school.

Thanksgiving

We went to Caroline's Uncle Rick and Aunt Lynn's house for Thanksgiving. Caroline's cousins Miriam and Sara were home from college, and they had so much fun playing together. There were also some other kids there, and she had a great time playing with them.
The oldest girl, Sadie, especially took a liking to Caroline.
We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends!

Sweet Times with Grandparents

Caroline and her grandma and grandpa love spending time together. This visit Caroline got down "bupa" for grandpa but hasn't quite mastered grandma yet! Here are some sweet pictures of them together during their visit.

Pre-Thanksgiving

Caroline's grandparents came last Wednesday to start the Thanksgiving festivities. We all went out to dinner to celebrate our 6th anniversary, and Caroline loved to do "cheers" with her cup to toast our anniversary!

Avery

We went to play with our good friends Avery and Liz last weekend. Caroline and Avery were the most interactive with each other that they have ever been! It was so fun to watch them chase each other around and then I got some cute pics of them sitting (I think they were finally tired out!) together reading books. Such sweet friends!

"Niti"

Caroline is slightly obsessed with her blanket, or as she calls it, "niti." She must have it with her at almost all times. It is very funny to now watch the interesting things she is finding to do with her "niti!"

Thanks to Aunt Maxine

Caroline has received some beautiful handmade gifts from special people in her life. This year she is big enough to wear this beautiful sweater that Ken's Aunt Maxine made for her. It is so pretty and perect for the fall!

Friends

We have gotten to play with some fun friends lately. A few weeks ago our friends Tejpreet and Rajvir came to play. Then this past week Caroline's friends Maya and Eshan came over. They all had a lot of fun together with Maya orchestrating the group as you can see! Caroline and Eshan had fun playing with the kitchen and chasing each other around the house. Eshan loved to play the piano; he would play a few notes and then clap for himself and tell everyone else to clap for him too! It is so fun to see all of these cute kids getting big and having fun together!

"Guk"

Caroline has been getting herself into some sticky situations lately, climbing on top of boxes, inside furniture, under the table, anywhere she can fit herself! Unfortunately, she hasn't figured out how to get out yet, so we often hear her little voice calling "guk" when she is "stuck" somewhere. She was not so happy when we stopped to take pictures instead of helping her, but we just can't resist!

Visit from Granddad

Caroline's granddad came to visit us last week, and we had such a good time! The weather was nice so we got outside a lot, went to Boston to the Children's Museum and to eat at Legal Seafood, yum! The most precious times were of Caroline and her granddad snuggling on the sofa; they are so sweet together! We were so glad to him here, and we can't wait to go to Texas for Christmas!

Lollipop

Caroline got to try a little bit of her Halloween candy and the choice was a lollipop. She totally enjoyed it, blue tongue and all!

Halloween

Caroline's cousin Miriam came to spend Halloween with us and took Caroline trick or treating on our street. We had such a good time with her as always, and Caroline had so much fun walking up and down our street and visiting our neighbors. When we got home, Watson was very interested in the contects of Caroline's bag. Even though he did not get any candy, they looked very cute but a little suspicious over in the corner surveying their loot!

Trick or Treat

Last week we went trick or treating with some friends in a downtown area a few towns away. Caroline got to make her debut as a ladybug and try out trick or treating. She loved it! She had so much fun picking pieces of candy and putting them in her bag. She is STILL carrying her bag around the house and shaking it with the candy inside. We had a great time with our friends Riley and his baby brother Mason, and we even got to see our friend Sam who we have missed in the last few months! Caroline definitely become well practiced during this "dress rehearsal" for the real Halloween festivities!
