iLoveMiriam

Caroline's cousin Miriam came to visit, and Caroline keeps getting better at operating her computer and iPod touch! Here are some fun pictures Miriam took with an application on her computer; Caroline loved looking at all of these and laughing at all of the silly ways she could look. We love when Miriam comes to see us!

Table Climber

We have a climber!! Caroline is constantly being "found" standing on the chairs at the table reaching for all kinds of things. Her daddy found her the other day here on TOP of the table trying to drink his coffee!! Look at that smile!

Poor Watson!

Poor Watson has had a rough few weeks. He has allergies and has had a huge flare up lately. He was itchy and had a sore on his paw and had to stay in this collar for weeks! We had to soak his paw in epsom salt (the things we do for our dog!), and Caroline was VERY interested and wanted to help Watson get his "medicine." Here she is observing VERY closely!

Adventures in Cereal Eating

Caroline is definitely moving into the phase of doing things "all by myself!" Climbing down the stairs, riding the train at the mall, and now eating her own bowl of cereal!

Fun Friends

We had our friends Maya and Eshaan over to play as well as Eshaan's baby brother, Aarush. We are hoping it is a good sign that she LOVED Aarush and loved trying to give him toys and rock him in his car seat, poor thing couldn't take a peaceful nap!Maya checking out Aarush.
Sweet hugs!

"Tuck!"

We are not sure how this happened, but we heard a sad voice yelling "tuck" from under the futon, and she was indeed "stuck!" And yes, we did rescue her right after we took this picture, we are cruel parents!

Teddy Bear Clinic

UMass holds a Teddy Bear clinic every year at the mall where hospital staff is on hand to check out teddy bears and fix any broken bones, boo-boos, etc. Caroline's bear got a clean bill of health, and she enjoyed trying on all of the doctor gear!

Pretty Dress

Here is Caroline's beautiful dress that Ken's Aunt Betty and Ruth gave us last year. She loved wearing the tights and shoes and kept saying "pretty dress!" We agreed!

Easter Egg Hunt

This was Caroline's first Easter egg hunt, and she LOVED it! Here she is ready to go with her basket and bunny ears!Daddy helping her open the first egg. There were 2 marshmellows inside (a new treat) which she stuffed in her mouth and then began foaming at the mouth by mid-Egg hunt!

Easter Egg Decorating

Caroline had SO much fun decorating Easter eggs. Knowing her as we do, we decided it best to BEGIN the activity without clothes, and by the end she was body painting and even decorating her diaper in lovely pastel colors!

Easter

Caroline was happy to receive her Eater basket on Easter morning; she was even MORE happy to play with all of the grass in her Eater basket! She spread it out ALL over the floor and especially enjoyed putting it on her feet. Not sure of the attraction, but we went with it!

Easter Cookies

Caroline and Avery made Easter cookies together with lots of sprinkles and icing; they had even more fun eating them! Such fun times playing with a friend!

Passover

We had a great Passover Seder at Caroline's Aunt Lynn and Uncle Rick's house. Her grandparents and cousins Miriam and Josh were also there; Caroline had a fabulous time playing with Miriam as usual! They played a fun game of 52 card pick-up with some Mickey Mouse playing cards, Caroline's favorite!Caroline loves her Passover matza!Miriam taught Caroline how to hide the afikomen; they even practiced when Miriam came to stay with us the week before Passover. She loved the idea of hiding it but she needs a little work on finding it!

A little more video of Caroline with both grandparents at the piano!
