Snow!

This was not our first snow (I think we had a dusting a couple of weeks ago that quickly melted), but this was the first time Caroline saw the snow! It is so exciting to show her new things, and she was so cute all bundled up!

Puppy Dog

Caroline and Watson are so cute together these days. Her face lights up whenever he comes into the room, and she likes to blow raspberries and scream at him! He likes to lick her fingers which makes her giggle; he is so sweet and gentle with her.

Ice Storm

We lost power and heat as a result of the ice storm last week, so we headed down to Caroline's grandparents' house where it was warm! We had a great time with them; Caroline had more piano sessions with her grandma which she loves. And look at this cute girl taking a bath in the sink; it is the perfect size for a baby Caroline! Thankfully our power came back late Friday night and we returned to a warm house! We hope everyone else made it through the ice storm and has their power back!

Santa!

Caroline had her first visit with Santa Claus! She was getting a little tired as we just had our holiday pictures made, so this picture is a lot better than the first few of her screaming! But while mom and dad were right there with Santa holding her, she seemed to like him and stared at his beard!

Christmas Tree

We put up our Christmas tree last week, and she loves looking at the lights and the ornaments. She helped put up her own ornament we got for her first Christmas; we are so excited to share this holiday season with her!

Hair

Caroline's hair is growing in so much lately. She has always had a long strand in the front, and a long tail in the back (baby mullet!), but now it is filling in all over. So, of course, a mom can't help but spike up a girl's hair into a mohawk! And she loves her bath so much she really doesn't mind too much!

Six Months Old

Caroline was 6 months old on Sunday! We can't believe how fast the time has gone! She has grown and learned so much; she is eating real food, trying to sit up (as you can see she still falls over!), and now she is getting her first tooth! We woke up on Sunday morning, and Caroline reached for Ken's finger to put in her mouth like she often does, and he felt something sharp! And sure enough, there is a little tooth sprouting up through the gums on the bottom! She is such a happy and sweet girl, and we are so thankful for the past 6 months with her!
