Charleston

We had a fun family trip with all of the Melnicks over Spring Break to celebrate Caroline and Jacob's grandma and grandpa's 50th anniversary.  We LOVED the warm weather and had so much fun being with all of our family.  The kids were excited to go, and Caroline loved that the state's name is part of her name- as Miriam write it so fittingly- Caroline-a!

Enjoying a chocolcate covered marshmellow on our first day in Charleston- with NO coats!!

Harbor tour around Charleston- we got to see dolphins playing in the water, too!

There was a great guitar player at a restaurant we went to for dinner one night; Jacob was mesmerized and spent most of the evening sitting and listening to the guitar playing and sining!

And while Jacob was listening to the music, Caroline was meeting guys in the bar!  This guy gave her his green boa for St. Patrick's Day; I think we may be in trouble!!

Coloring with Sara during dinner

Jacob's favorite frogs sitting on benches in our hotel!

Riding the trolley in Charleston with Miriam and Marc

Playing with water at the Charleston Children's Museum

Yummy frozen yogurt place we went to with Miriam, Marc, and grandma where you got to add  you own toppings from a room full of huge bins!  Kid heaven!

Our Girl

Our girl is really growing up, and it is so exciting to watch her become more of her own person every day.  She is our strong and determined and funny girl who loves to talk, sing, and dance, draw, and swim.  She is the sunshine in all of our lives.

Self portrait to show off her new hairstyle- Caroline is growing out her bangs and tells us this is her "new look!"

There were some shreds of paper on the floor, so Caroline got out the vacuum, plugged it in, and vacuumed the rug all by herself!!!  I have never  been more proud! :)

Our big girl's new bed- complete with My Little Pony comforter!!

Fun with Jacob

Jacob makes us smile every day!  He continues to love to sing and play guitar as well as pretend to be Spiderman- his new favorite!  He loves to entertain us and give big hugs and kisses, and we love our happy boy so much!

Valentine's Party

Caroline had a few friends over for a Valentine's party.  They had so much fun making pizza, cupcakes, and Valentine's crafts.  Caroline was looking forward to it for weeks!  Jacob handled all of those girls in his house very well- I guess his big sister has trained him well!

SNOW!

It was recently published that Worcester received the most snow in the country this year- over 100 inches!!  Craziness!  Here are a few of the snow scenes we saw this winter.

Our house buried in almost 3 feet of snow in February!

 Almost taller than Jacob!

And our March snowfall at almost 2 feet!
