Pledge of Allegiance

Caroline is learning so much in school; it is so fun to hear what she has to tell us when she comes home from school each day.  Since they recite the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, she has learned it quickly and recites it often at home!

Ecotarium Pumpkin Fest

Every year, the Ecotarium displays hundreds of pumpkins for one night.  Last year I took Caroline, and she LOVED it!  This year, we all went and had a great night!

Sugery

Our Jacob had surgery in September to remove his adenoids.  He was such a trooper and did great!!  We had to stay over  in the hospital that night, but a visit from his dad and sister made him feel better!  He was mad that night that he couldn't eat pizza as he was chasing Caroline up and down the halls!

School got started without a hitch; we all had a great first day! 

Caroline is loving kindergarten!

Labor Day

We enjoyed our last weekend of the summer in New York swimming and spending time with Caroline's Grandma and Grandpa and Marc and Miriam.  This picture sums it up!!

Jacob's Birthday Party

Jacob LOVES music, so we did his birthday theme as Baby Belgua since it is his favorite Raffi song.  Mr. Dave, our music teacher, came to play for the kids, and we all had a great time celebrating our special boy!

Visit from Granddad!

Caroline and Jacob's Granddad came to visit from Texas and was here for Jacob's birthday party!  We were so happy to have him here!!

Phoenicia, NY

Miriam's fiancé, Marc and his family, have a cabin in Phoenicia in the Catskills.  We were able to spend a weekend there with them and had a great time visiting a place they love so much!
