Beach Day

We wanted to squeeze in a day at the beach before the summer ends! Jacob had never been, and Caroline had not been since she was 1 year old. We went to Plum Island and had a great day. Jacob had fun playing in the sand, and Caroline LOVED playing in the waves!

It is so hard to believe that Jacob is 1 year old! First Haircut

Jacob got his first haircut while Grandad was here. He did such a great job- no crying! He looks so big with his big boy haircut!

Visit from Grandad

Grandad came for Jacob's 1st birthday last week, and we had so much fun with him here! Caroline and Jacob both had so much fun catching up and playing with grandad!

Boston Playdate

We spent a fun day in Boston with our friends Claire, Maggie, and Molly. Molly and Jacob are only 10 days apart and enjoyed sharing mum-mums together. The big girls had such a fun time playing too!

Birthday Party

We had fun going to our friend Riley's fireman birthday party. The kids had so much fun knocking out targets with the water hose. We are so thankful for such special friends!

Zoo Trip

Little Brother

With Jacob on the move, Caroline has had to "adjust." How could this sweet boy be any trouble? He's just trying to be part of the tea party!

On the Move

We all thought crawling was just around the corner as Jacob has been getting up on his hands and knees and rocking for a while. Then he started scootching on his belly, and now he is doing a full army crawl. I think he is too fast now to change his crawling strategy- at least he can get where he needs to go!

Dancing Babies

Jacob is obsessed with the fridge magnets and loves to turn the music on and dance! It is so fun to see Jacob do things just like Caroline did at this age, but with his own flair of course!
