Snow

Winter in New England has begun (I guess it had to at some point!), and Caroline loves the snow! She loves to walk around in it and touch it. She can't quite throw a snowball yet but she thought it was hilarous when I tossed a little one against her coat!
She also loves winter attire! She thought it was fun to walk around in my boots, and she wears her hat and mittens around the house regularly! Thankfully for Caroline, she will have plenty of opportunities to wear her winter attire and play in the snow over the next several months!

Sweet Friends

Is this not the cutest picture of two little sweet girls?! We got to have our friends Liz and Avery over last weekend, and the girls kept sneaking into the other room and then running around the corner together holding hands! It makes me so happy to see these sweet friends together and I hope their friendship continues for a long time!

Tree Decorating

We put up our Christmas tree after Thanksgiving (when Caroline says it it sounds more like "misses tee"), and Caroline has had a great time checking it out! Most of our ornaments are on the upper half of the tree this year to prevent ornament-napping! We got a Mickey Mouse ornament which she LOVES; she carried it around the house the whole time we were decorating the tree, and she finally relinquished it to go on the tree!
After the decorating was finished, both Caroline and daddy needed some resting time on the sofa; they were worn out! I am happy to report that the tree is still in one piece though Donald Duck's head is missing off her Mickey ornament from banging it up against the wall, and I do find the tree skirt somewhere else in the house every couple of days, but that all goes with having a very curious toddler in our house and we wouldn't have it any other way!

More Post-Thanksgiving

What kind of host would Miss Caroline be if she did not help cook dinner for her family? Here she is showing Miriam and Sara her way around the kitchen!

Post-Thanksgiving

It has become a tradition for Caroline's Uncle Rick, Aunt Lynn, and cousins to come to our hosue the night after Thanksgiving so we can spend more time together. We had a great time together as usual and Caroline got to spend some special time with her cousins Sara and Miriam before they go back to school.

Thanksgiving

We went to Caroline's Uncle Rick and Aunt Lynn's house for Thanksgiving. Caroline's cousins Miriam and Sara were home from college, and they had so much fun playing together. There were also some other kids there, and she had a great time playing with them.
The oldest girl, Sadie, especially took a liking to Caroline.
We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends!

Sweet Times with Grandparents

Caroline and her grandma and grandpa love spending time together. This visit Caroline got down "bupa" for grandpa but hasn't quite mastered grandma yet! Here are some sweet pictures of them together during their visit.

Pre-Thanksgiving

Caroline's grandparents came last Wednesday to start the Thanksgiving festivities. We all went out to dinner to celebrate our 6th anniversary, and Caroline loved to do "cheers" with her cup to toast our anniversary!

Avery

We went to play with our good friends Avery and Liz last weekend. Caroline and Avery were the most interactive with each other that they have ever been! It was so fun to watch them chase each other around and then I got some cute pics of them sitting (I think they were finally tired out!) together reading books. Such sweet friends!

"Niti"

Caroline is slightly obsessed with her blanket, or as she calls it, "niti." She must have it with her at almost all times. It is very funny to now watch the interesting things she is finding to do with her "niti!"
