Playing with Dad

Caroline is making so many noises, her new thing is screaming loudly! She also enjoys biting on your finger, and she can bite hard (just imagine when she gets some teeth!). Here is Carline and her dad being very silly together!

Great Granddad

Caroline met her great granddad on our trip. Caroline loved staring at the fire in the fireplace; he is famous for always having a fire going which we needed since it was chilly in Texas that day!

Andrea and Boston

We visited with my friend Andrea, we have known each other since elementary school. She had a little boy, Boston, in May. He is very tall compared to Caroline, and they had a fun time playing together. Caroline loved feeling his face as well as sticking her fingers in his mouth, thankfully he did not bite down with all of his new teeth!

Grandma Mimi

We spent the day with my mother who got to meet Caroline for the first time! We had a great time eating lunch with her and visiting her new office at the Girl Scouts. They were so sweet together! Here is Caroline sporting her new Texas Tech hat that her Mimi bought for her; she will definitely be wearing it this Saturday for the big game!!

New Trick

Caroline learned a fun new trick with her granddad; she liked to sit up and then fall back onto his chest. It would make her smile so big, and they were so precious together!

Granddad, Miss Mel, and Aunt Lauren

We traveled to Wichita Falls and stayed with my dad, Melody, and Lauren who came home from college for her birthday that weekend! Caroline loved spending time with all of these people who love her so much. She and her granddad had so many fun times together playing!

Babies Halie and Greenlea

We had a fun baby playtime with our good friends Rebecca and Melissa and their beautiful new babies Halie and Greenlea. Halie is 6 weeks old, and Greenlea is 3 weeks old. Having all of these girls together was so fun, and Caroline loved saring at the babies! Caroline looks like a giant baby next to them, it is already hard to believe she was ever that little!

Amy and Kate

We stayed with Amy and Kate when we got to Texas. Kate is such a cute girl, and she loves Caroline so much! She loves to hold her, kiss her, and play with her; she even enjoyed sharing her bathtime with her!

Travel to Texas

Caroline and I went to Texas for almost a week to see so many friends and family! Sadly, she got her first cold the night nefore we left, but she did great on the airplane rides and was such a trooper with all of the traveling! The next few entries will be all of the wonderful people we got to see!

Meeting More Family

Caroline's Great Aunt Maxine and Great Uncle Jack came to meet Caroline on their drive home from the Boston area. It was so great to see them and for them to meet Caroline! We love meeting new family!

Play Group

We got together with the moms and babies that we had a mom's group with after Caroline was born. We have not seen those babies in about 6 weeks, so it was so fun to see how big they have all gotten!! I feel like my little baby is growing up fast!

Fall in New England

We took a walk in the park with Andy and Holly and looked at all of the beautiful trees with their leaves starting to change. This was the best tree in the park!

Uncle Andy

Andy and Holly came to stay with us after Holly ran the Hartford marathon! Andy was not too sure about holding little Caroline, but she loved meeting both of them! Watson was also very happy to get some extra attention!

Family Photo

Caroline's Uncle Andy came to visit with Holly and we had a fun family dinner! Caroline was in her first family photo; we were just missing cousins Sara and Josh!

Yom Kippur

Caroline got to spend time with her cousin Miriam on Yom Kippur. They had a wonderful time together; we were so happy to see Miriam while she was home from school!

Caroline and Watson

Here are Caroline and Watson playing together. He is good with her but had started to try to steal her toys! He will need to learn to share with his younger sibling!

Trip to Boston

Caroline took her first trip into Boston last weekend. We went to eat dinner with a group from the National Stuttering Association. Here we are on Newbury Street, she will be shopping there before we know it!

Blowing Bubbles

Caroline loves to blow bubbles lately, she is getting very good at it! Here is another video of her playing in the morning.

Melnick Girl

Here is Caroline with Ken (self portrait by dad) about to go for a walk. She can now face outward in the Bjorn, and she loves to be able to look around at everything! We are also thinking that she may be a trumpet player like her Uncle Rick!

Talking Girl

Here is a video of Caroline doing some talking; she has a lot to say!

Friends and Family

We spent Caroline's first Rosh Hashanah with her Aunt Lynn, Uncle Rick, and cousin Josh in Lexington, and her grandparents came too. We also had Liz and Avery over this week, the girls are getting so big and talkative these days!

Ready for Bed

Caroline loves to read stories and is all settled in for bed with a good book!

I Love My Daddy!

Unfortunately a little blurry, but a precious picture!

Happy Girl!

Caroline is all smiles these days! She loves to smile at everyone, and it definitely makes us happy!
