First Tub Bath

Caroline had her first tub bath this week after her umbilical cord came off. She seemed to really enjoy it, no crying at all (at least until she came out and was cold!).

Two weeks old

Caroline is 2 weeks old today, we can't believe how fast it has gone! She weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces at her doctor's appointment on Wednesday. We tried out the Baby Bjorn today but she may still be a little too small for it! Her umbilical cord came off this morning revealing a cute little belly button! And she enjoyed some good hanging out with dad time and a walk, a very busy day for a 2 week old!

Caroline Is Here!!

We are so happy to announce the arrival of Caroline Beth Melnick! She was born on June 7, 2008 at 10:48 am, 6 pounds, 4 ounces, and 18.5 inches long. We are all home now and doing well. We are so happy to share some pictures of our precious miracle! Thank you for all of the well wishes we have received!

Due Date

Today was our doctor's appointment before our due date tomorrow. We found out that Caroline is in breech position, so we are scheduled for tomorrow to try and turn her around followed by either an induction or a c-section. So we are very close, and she may be born on her due date! We will let you all know when she arrives!
